Maldives Today reports fairly and rigorously on the public affairs of the Maldives, and tries to make sense of the world for an island nation that lives at its edges. We cover politics, business, environment and culture, with a permanent newsroom in Malé and contributors based across the atolls.
We are independent. The paper is owned by Maldives Today Press, a privately-held company registered in the Republic of Maldives, and is editorially separate from any political party, government body or commercial sponsor.
